There are many photographers who use their own name for their business. Some may use something clever that gives a hint at what they're doing. So, as names go, you may be wondering: Why Five Wilds Photography? Well, for starters, I am the incredibly blessed Mama to 5 little wild things! I had five babies within 8 years, and they are truly giving me the adventure of a lifetime! They teach and inspire me more than they'll ever know. Next, I have a background in psychology and have always been fascinated with studying the 5 stages of life, essentially, the transitions we make throughout our lives from the very beginning, to the end. I like to think of it as Lifespan Photography. I want my work to encompass every stage of life, whether it be a brand new baby, or the celebration of a 50th wedding anniversary. Embracing those beautiful, natural moments that make up each unique journey through life is both an honor and a pleasure. Every age and every stage holds new and marvelous ways in which we learn and grow, and I want to capture all of it...the Five Wild Stages of Life.
